Title: iPhone 3G on T-mobile,Orange in UK??
Post by: nixforfun on July 20, 2009, 03:49:38 PM
In a move that is bound to upset O2, Apple might soon end the exclusivity of iPhone 3G in the UK and may make it available on other operators. The O2 exclusivity contract for iPhone 3G (note- not for iPhone 3GS) expires in September this year and other operators might launch it in the UK. Infact T-mobile UK is rumoured to be planning to sell unlocked iPhones from Germany (where it is the official carrier) in UK to its customers who threaten to leave to O2 for an iPhone. T-mobile is rumoured to have started telling its customers the same.

I hope that leads to cheaper tariffs in the UK for the iPhone. O2 has ripped customers for long.
